I completed my first order saturday. To say I was nervous would be an understatement! Mostly driving to the party with the cake and cupcakes was the worst; I drove like a little old lady on sunday morning! It paid off too, none of the 50’s fell off of the cupcakes or broke! The recipient loved his cake too, which is what makes it all worthwhile. Although while chasing kids around I didn’t get to see him or his wife view the cake for the first time 
I can’t wait to make some more cakes!

Hey everyone! I’ve got lots going on this week. I am still organizing and designing my web page along with working on my first cake order, designing a cake concept for a local business, (more on that soon!), and of course being a mommy!

The Cake Mom entered a baking contest at St. Francis Medical Center and got 2nd place! My cake was chocolate pumpkin spice cake with chocolate buttercream and fondant. It was so much fun!
